Online Marketing and the Search Revolution
Andy Jamieson, Co-Founder of Switched on Media and Speaker of the ZaaBiz-Infusion event in Sydney on the 28th of August made his point clear: “there are 550 people who lost their jobs with Fairfax this week, most of them in traditional media. Hope they all find new jobs soon, I guess mainly in the digital media space.”
About 50 guests listened to what the young entrepreneur had to say: on the latest developments in search technology, his own experiences with eBay and Fairfax before joining Scot Ennis to found Switched on Media last year, and giving lots of practical advice to all guests. It was a great example of how practical these ZaaBiz evenings can be.
After his speech, the guests used the opportunity to network and make new contacts. “Lovely to meet you last night, I really enjoyed the event and made some interesting contacts,” wrote E. Abbott from Austcorpexecutive in a statement the next day. We want to add: thanks Sandra for organising this event again in such a professional way.
