Time to act

Statistics released last week have shown that the way that we network online is changing. While the major social networking sites are still prominent, it seems that the time Australians spend on them is deceasing.

But this is not so for ZaaBiz.

As out use of social online tools drop, our use of online business tools is increasing.

This could be put down to current global economic trends, and the thousands of users who have realised the importance of strong global networks in such times of duress.

I think that this trend offers a great opportunity for us to go ahead and get involved on the platform. If you’re already spedning time browsing and connecting with people, why not go ahead and jump into a forum for a good, down and dirty, open discussion. Or you can gather your industry peers around you by forming a new group. One member who has done just that is Jay Bhattachary, with his group Students of UTS. Hot on his heels however, is the UTS Alumni group, headed by member Sarah Stanford.

Whatever your industry, its time to get up, get involved, and get active.

As always, happy networking!

Signing off,

Louise.
