Too Busy to Brag?

Normally we would brag about what is great, fantastic, exciting, wonderful, helpful, useful and fabulous!

So would you agree that bragging is a good thing because we seem to be talking about something that sounds pretty good?

Bragging is easy because the ‘bragger’ is already a believer in the product, service, thing or person they are bragging about. It’s not a hard-sell; it’s an excited and interesting wealth of information about something. It’s all the good points rolled into a few seconds of bragging.

Bragging is the perfect way to get your business message out there. Plus, bragging is free, which makes it the cheapest form of marketing you can invest in.

Take a few minutes to review your business:

      What are the good points?

  •       How do you help people?
  •       What impact does your business have on your clients’ lives?
  •       What are you doing at the moment to improve your business?
  •       What excites you the most about your business right now?

Make time to attend a networking event and brag about your business. Tell people what you love about your business, the service you provide and how you help your clients.

Remember, you are not at a networking event to sell. You are there to make connections and to let people know you exist! Make time to brag about your business.

Follow-up and call your new contacts within a few days and arrange a time to meet to discuss how the business connection you’ve made together may lead to a long-lasting business relationship.
