ZaaBiz…the musical!
The ZaaBiz offices in Surry Hills are filled with accents. Indian, German, Australian…we like to keep things interesting. Because of this diverse background we quite often find ourselves debating different cultural points of view, recommending different movies, books and music from our home country, and reading, listening to and watching those from different places around the world.
The ZaaBiz Team are very focused on meaningful interaction with others, or put simply, networking! And we’re up for a bit of fun on the weekend too. So, following a great Twitter exchange yesterday our buddy Glebe2037 put together a playlist of ‘must hear’ Aussie songs, especially for the very international ZaaBiz team. And, here it is:
• The Go-Betweens – Cattle and Cane
• The Hummingbirds – Blush
• The Sports – Who Listens to the Radio?
• Casey Chambers & Shane Nicholson – Rattlin’ Bones
• The Easybeats – Friday on my Mind
• Triffids – Wide Open Road
• Cut Copy – Kidz at the Disco
• The Church – Unguarded Moment
• John Farnham – You’re the Voice
• New Waver – John Farnham’s Coke Roadie
• Pure-tone – Addicted to Bass
• Weddings, Parties, Anything – Luckiest Man
• Beasts of Bourbon – Master and Slave
• Mi-Sex – Computer Games
• Dirty Three – Some Summers They Drop Like Flies
• Butterfly Boucher – A Bitter Song
• The Sunnyboys – Alone with You (tonight)
• The Avalanches – Frontier Psychiatrist
• Hoodoo Gurus – Tojo
• Madison Avenue – Don’t Call Me Baby
• Olivia Newtown-John and Electric Light Orchestra – Xanadu
• Bodyjar – Not the Same
Anything to add? Anything to dispute? Tell us what you think!
Signing off,
Louise.
